St Nicholas Brewing Company (SNBC)
Did you know that the original Flagship location was at one point a hotel opened in the 1800s. In 2009, the building was bought at auction for less than $1,000 to preserve a piece of history and keep the hotel from being torn down – the fate of the building continued to hang in the balance until 2014 when we opened up the Brewery!

Landmark Fun Facts: The Landmark building was built in 1829. In the earliest years, when Chester was actually located on the riverfront, the building was known as St. Louis Flats.

The latest and greatest from the St Nicholas Crew - baby sis. St Nicholas MDH Est. 2022. Did you know that the FAA’s Airport code for Southern Illinois Airport is “MDH”? This will be the only airport terminal in the United States with a Brewery (and 1 of 2 in the WHOLE WORLD). Seriously!
