LETTS Time Trial Shiloh Hill

LETTS #6 will be taking place on Tuesday, June 21 at 6:00 p.m. The route will be 13.5 miles in length and will contain some short, punchy hills. All roads will be paved and the last four miles will be flat and fast. The plan is to have the route marked, however you can follow the link below to preview the route.
http://veloroutes.org/bikemaps/?route=140575#

Currently there is no strava segment, however one will be made afterwards on Tuesday. Riders should prepare to time themselves, though a segment will be made for official times. Riders should park in Shiloh Hill at the village pavilion which is across the street from the Shiloh Tavern, the only local business.

Trans-Illinois Ride

This is a 135-mile unsponsored, unsupported, and unsanctioned ride that some of the club members intend to ride. The route begins at Cave-in Rock and ends in Chester. It follows the Transamerica Bicycle Route '76 and this is the 40th anniversary of that route. There will be at least one person dong the entire ride with some others doing sections of it. We are trying to work out some shuttles. Please contact Gene Gross at genegross7@gmail.com or Katie Ancell at katherineancell@gmail.com if you are interested.
