Honoring the Legacy: Dedication Ceremony at St. Nicholas Brewing Co. – Du Quoin

Join us on Wednesday, June 11 at 6:30 PM for a special dedication ceremony at St. Nicholas Brewing Co. in Du Quoin(12 S Oak Street), where we celebrate the rich history and remarkable restoration of our historic home—the former St. Nicholas Hotel.

Originally built in 1879, this iconic building stood vacant and condemned until it was rescued from demolition in 2009 with a symbolic $777 bid. What followed was a years-long journey of preservation, passion, and craftsmanship. Reopened in 2014 as a brewpub, the space now honors both its past and the vibrant community that brought it back to life.

We invite the public to join us for this heartfelt celebration, complete with light snacks, beer tokens, and stories from the journey. Hosted in partnership with the Du Quoin Historical Society, this event is a toast to resilience, reinvention, and the power of community.
